DRAMA - 6TH FORM - APRIL 7TH

Hi kids!

Hope you are ok!
J

Here is Mister “A.C”, your Drama teacher.

Today, we are going to learn about MUSICALS.

WHAT IS A MUSICAL?

Musical theatre is a form of theatrical production that combines songs, spoken dialogue, acting and dance. The story is communicated through words, music, movement and technical aspects of the entertainment such as lightning effects and scenery. We call these productions musicals.

Musicals are performed around the world. They may be presented in large venues, such as big budget West End and Broadway theater productions in London and New York City, or in smaller off-Broadway or regional productions, on tour, or by amateur groups in schools, theaters, and other informal stages.
